Abstract:
In order to have the power unit break downward when a greater than prescribed load is applied, a torque rod has: a first circular part (21); a second circular part (22); a connecting stay part (24) connecting the first circular part (21) and the second circular part (22); a first attachment member (31) that is connected via a first rubber elastic body (41) within the first circular part (21); and a second attachment member (32) that is connected via a second rubber elastic body (42) within the second circular part (22). The connecting stay part (24) has an upper part (24U) and a lower part (24L), with the bending strength of the lower part (24L) being set lower than that of the upper part (24U). A cavity (30) exposing a portion of the first circular part (21) is formed between the upper part (24U) and the lower part (24L). A thin-walled part (21A) having a protrusion (21B) is provided in the region of the first circular part (21) which is exposed to the cavity (30). A slanting surface (24A) the lower part of which slants toward the second circular part (22) is formed in the region of the cavity (30) which faces the first circular part (21).
