Title:
TORQUE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/018319
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An inner supporting body (110), a deformable body for detection (120) and an annular outer supporting body (130) are disposed sequentially from the inside to the outside around the Z-axis. The inside surface of the deformable body for detection (120) in the vicinity of inner support points (P1, P2) is connected to the outside surface of the inner supporting body (110) by means of inner connecting members (141, 142), and the outside surface of the deformable body for detection (120) in the vicinity of outer support points (Q1, Q2) is connected to the inside surface of the outer supporting body (130) by means of outer connecting members (151, 152). If a torque acts in a clockwise direction on the outer supporting body (130) while the inner supporting body (110) is fixed, detecting portions (121, 123) are displaced to the outside, and detecting portions (122, 124) are displaced to the inside. These displacements are detected electrically as variations in the capacitances of four sets of capacitor elements formed from opposing electrodes (E11-F11, E12-F12, E13-F13, E14-F14).
