Abstract:
In order to obtain a touch panel configuration in which even if the interval between some wires is large, noise contained in signals in the wires can be effectively removed by a differential method, a touch panel (2) is provided with: a touch panel substrate (22); a plurality of Y-direction electrodes (23) which are formed on the touch panel substrate (22); a plurality of wires (24, 34) which are electrically connected to the plurality of Y-direction electrodes (23); and a floating electrode (61) which, in order that noise caused in at least one wire among the plurality of wires (24, 34) can be propagated to another wire adjacent to the wire, is disposed within the range of a predetermined distance from the at least one wire and the other wire.
