Abstract:
A touchless button input apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a touchless button array having a plurality of touchless buttons arranged therein, wherein each of the touchless buttons comprises an infrared light emitting unit for emitting infrared light, an infrared light receiving unit for receiving reflected light which is the emitted infrared light reflected by an object and returned, and outputting a sensing value corresponding to the amount of received reflected light, and an A/D converter for converting the sensing value into a digital signal and outputting same; and a button recognition unit which, if one among the touchless buttons has a sensing value greater than or equal to a first threshold value, recognizes that a user has selected the corresponding touchless button.
