Abstract:
Disclosed is a toughening regulation method for a super-thick steel plate. According to the present application, an existing industrial EH47 continuous casting billet is used as a raw material, two thermo-mechanical control processes (TMCPs) are used, impact fracture splitting is realized under the conditions of low compression ratio and high finishing rolling temperature, and the splitting toughening effect is achieved, thereby significantly improving the ultra-low temperature toughness of the steel plate. The production method of the present application can significantly improve the impact toughness of the steel plate at -80ºC, and has a simple production process, high operability, low implementation difficulty, and significant fracture splitting toughening effect. In the actual industrial production, the use of the method allows to increase the thickness of the finished steel plate to 100 mm, and solve the problem of the poor toughness of the super-thick steel plate core caused by the thickness of the continuous casting billet in the actual production.
