Abstract:
A towing anchor capable of extending out of wing plates (2) and a mounting method therefor, the towing anchor comprising a main anchor plate (1) and two wing plates (2). The wing plates (2) may slide outward relative to the main anchor plate (1) and do not drop off; a mooring cable (8) is attached to the main anchor plate (1) and is connected to a towing vessel. The main anchor plate (1) is also provided thereon with a limiting cable-receiving groove (6). First, second and third fixed pulleys (3, 4, 5) are respectively provided in the limiting cable-receiving groove (6) in correspondence to each wing plate (2). One end of a stretching cable (7) is fixed to an inner side edge of the wing plate (2), and the other end thereof is connected to the towing vessel by penetrating a hole in the middle of the limiting cable-receiving groove (6) after bypassing the third, second and first fixed pulleys (5, 4, 3) successively. In terms of force, the present towing anchor extends by means of the retractable wing plates (2), which significantly increases the force area of the towing anchor and greatly increases the bearing capacity of the anchor. In terms of installation, the towing anchor maintains the advantages of a traditional towing anchor being towed by means of a vessel, and does not generate additional installation resistance. In addition, the towing anchor may contract in the course of transportation, thus saving space and allowing for transportation.
