Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a towpreg in which slippage off a paper tube does not occur when a bobbin is raised, which exhibits little wrapping shrinkage when unraveled and has good bobbin shape stability, and thus has superior ease of handling, and which also exhibits good tow expansion during filament winding molding, and thus is capable of yielding a void-free molded article of good quality. The towpreg is obtained by impregnating a reinforcing fiber bundle with an epoxy resin composition that contains component [A] an epoxy resin and component [B] an epoxy resin curing agent compatible with [A], and that satisfies condition (I) and one of conditions (X) and (Y).
