Abstract:
A tracing method and system for an item circulation system. The tracing method for an item circulation system comprises: acquiring item description information (101), wherein the item description information comprises an item name, an alias, a quantity, position information, an item specification and an item identification (ID) code; encapsulating the item description information into a globe standard 1 (GS1) label, and determining an item GS1 label (102), wherein the item GS1 label corresponds to the item description information; uploading the item GS1 label to a blockchain (103); and using the item GS1 label uploaded to the blockchain to make a query on an item subjected to tracing (104). The tracing method and system for an item circulation system can ensure that data is not tampered with, improve data security and reduce the total tracking cost.
