Title:
TRACKED ROBOT WHICH ADAPTS EASILY TO TERRAIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/129572
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tracked robot which adapts easily to terrain, and the object of the present invention is to provide a tracked robot which adapts easily to terrain, whereby vibration of the tracked robot can be minimised and stability ensured and damage to internal circuitry prevented when progressing over uneven terrain at high speed, by allowing a degree of freedom and rotational-angle adjustment in a plurality of multi-drive track units driven by means of a propulsion motor. The present invention comprises: a chassis frame; 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th multi-drive track units provided on both sides of the chassis frame; a propulsion motor unit for driving the multi-drive track units, which is provided in the chassis frame; a 1st angle-adjusting unit which is provided so as to be positioned in the chassis frame, and which simultaneously transmits the drive force of an angle-adjusting motor to the 1st and 2nd multi-drive track units by means of a backlash unit so as to cause the 1st and 2nd multi-drive track units to rotate; and a 2nd angle-adjusting unit which is provided in the chassis frame and simultaneously transmits the drive force of the angle-adjusting motor to the 3rd and 4th multi-drive track units by means of a different backlash unit so as cause the 3rd and 4th multi-drive track units to rotate.
