Abstract:
A traction and power supply system and method for an agricultural robot, the system consisting of a traction control system and a traction platform. The traction control system comprises a traction control unit (1), a distance sensor (2) and a network communication interface (3). The traction platform comprises a controlled traction control unit (4), a network communication interface (5), an overhead bracket (6), a traction rope (7), a traction motor (8) and a traction support assembly (9). The method is as follows: the overhead bracket (6) is distributed and the path of the traction rope (7) is planned according to terrain and crop distribution; when a robot needs to move, encounters an obstacle or needs to return back to a starting / ending point, the traction control unit (1) and the controlled traction control unit (4) interact in terms of request instructions and response instructions by means of the respective network communication interfaces thereof, the traction motor (8) is driven by the controlled traction control unit (4) to rotate and therefore to pull the traction rope, and the robot is pulled by the traction rope (7) to move. The method also comprises that the power required by the robot for continuous operations is conveyed by means of the traction rope (7).
