Abstract:
Provided is a traffic control method for a mobile robot system, comprising: step 1: defining the physical dimensions of a mobile robot and the locations of points on its operating route; step 2: for each one of the points on the operating route, and in combination with the physical dimensions of the mobile robot, obtaining outline information of the mobile robot at the points, and thereby obtaining the outline information of the mobile robot aloing the entire operating route; step 3: for the first route, calculating to determine whether the outlines of the mobile robot on the first route and a second route intersect; if they intersect, then the first route and the second route are mutually exclusive; step 4: calculating to determine whether the outline of the first route intersects with the outlines of mobile robots on all other routes, thereby obtaining a mutual exclusion set of all routes. The described method enables the complete automation of the mutual exclusion sets among routes, the configuration results are not prone to the occurrence of deadlock, and the invention thus solves the problems of the manual configuration of mutual exclusion sets being prone to error and the workload being large.
