Abstract:
A traffic monitoring and alerting method, comprising: receiving GPS data sent by a GPS device in a vehicle, and calculating, according to the received GPS data, a first vehicle number inside a preset electric fence (S101); determining whether the first vehicle number is greater than a first preset number threshold (S102); if the first vehicle number is greater than the first preset number threshold, acquiring a duration during which the first vehicle number is greater than the first preset number threshold (S103); determining whether the duration is greater than a first preset duration (S104); if the duration is greater than the first preset duration, issuing an alert message (S105). The method can improve traffic monitoring efficiency and enable timely alerts.
