Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a traffic monitoring method and apparatus, an integrated circuit, a network device, and a network system. The method comprises: when a traffic collecting apparatus receives a first packet, determining that the measurement value of the target performance index of the first packet is matched with the value of first information in a first register; and according to the measurement value of the target performance index of the first packet, updating the value of second information in the first register, and adding one to the value of third information in the first register. Thus, using the first information used for indicating the depth of a data bucket carrying the measurement value of the target performance index of a monitored packet, the second information used for indicating the accumulative sum of the measurement value of the target performance index of the monitored packet that is matched with the value of the first information in each register, and third information used for indicating the number of packets that are in received packets and matched with the value of the first information in each register as three statistical parameters achieves comprehensive and accurate statistics on the target performance index.
