Abstract:
The present invention relates to a traffic monitoring system using a LIDAR capable of providing notification of a road obstacle and tracking a vehicle and, particularly, to a traffic monitoring system using a LIDAR capable of providing notification of a road obstacle and tracking a vehicle, wherein a LIDAR sensor is used to detect passing of a vehicle so as to enable accurate detection of the passing of the vehicle and acquire various information about the vehicle having passed thereby, and the LIDAR sensor is used to detect an obstacle generated in a detection area and notifies of the obstacle detection to driving vehicles, so as to reduce the occurrence of an accident caused by the obstacle.
