Abstract:
A traffic signal apparatus comprises a housing (2) that is formed with an opening portion (3); a packing-placing plate portion (8) that is circumferentially formed in an approximately vertical shape in a central direction of the opening portion along an inner circumferential wall surface (7) of the opening portion (3); a fixed ring-engaging partition wall (10) that is circumferentially formed in a vertical shape on the packing-placing plate portion (8) with a predetermined gap from the inner circumferential wall surface (7); an annular packing (33) that is placed between the fixed ring-engaging partition wall (10) and an inner circumferential end of the packing-placing plate portion (8); an LED unit where an anchoring flange portion (18) is circumferentially formed on the packing (33) in such a manner that a lower end thereof can be anchored; a fixing ring (5) that is pressed against an upper end of the anchoring flange portion (18) and can be attached to or detached from the fixed ring-engaging partition wall (10); and a hood (6) whose base end can be inserted between the inner circumferential wall surface (7) and the fixed ring-engaging partition wall (10) and which can be attached to or detached from the fixed ring-engaging partition wall (10).
