Abstract:
A train interior monitoring system (40) comprises: an onboard video storage unit (12) that stores, as image information, parameter information together with video data captured by monitoring cameras (11) that capture images of the interior of trains (10a, 10b); an onboard control unit (14) that controls the operation of devices installed in the trains (10a, 10b); an onboard display unit (15) that carries out display under the control by the onboard control unit (14); an onboard communication unit (13) that, under the control by the onboard control unit (14), transmits image information stored in the onboard video storage unit (12) in a state in which the trains (10a, 10b) are stopped; and a video analysis server (33) that uses the image information to determine whether an item has been forgotten on the trains (10a, 10b), and that generates a forgotten item notification indicating that an item has been forgotten when a forgotten item has been detected. The onboard display unit (15) displays details of the forgotten item notification under the control of the onboard control unit (14).
