Abstract:
This trajectory plan creation assistance method for assisting in creation of a trajectory plan acquires shape data of a shaped object; decomposes a three-dimensional shape model based on the shape data into a plurality of linear models each in which a perpendicular cross section in a lengthwise direction is a polygonal shape; sets a bead formation trace for forming a welding bead along the linear model, and a bead formation trajectory that includes an addition order of the welding bead; generates, along the set bead formation trace, a plurality of unit blocks of a polygonal pillar shape obtained by dividing the linear model into unit lengths; and, for each unit block, simulates the formation of the welding bead by means of a simulation, thereby creating a trajectory plan.
