Abstract:
Disclosed by the invention are a transcoding task allocation method, a scheduling device and a transcoding device. The method comprises: once the scheduling device receives a task allocation request sent by a client device, determining the current load value of each transcoding device according to the target resolution of the transcoding tasks carried in each transcoding device and the device performance of each transcoding device, and then determining the target transcoding device with a current load value smaller than a first threshold value, so that the client device can send the transcoding tasks to the target transcoding device. Thereby, compared with the prior art that the target transcoding device is directly selected according to the IP address of the transcoding device, the embodiment of the invention fully takes the load condition of the transcoding device into consideration, effectively avoids the situation that the transcoding task cannot be executed timely due to overload of the transcoding device, and improves the video transcoding efficiency.
