Abstract:
Provided is a transfer device with which a care-receiving person who has difficulty in independent walking can be transferred to a desired location in a comfortable posture. This transfer device (1) is provided with front wheels (2) and rear wheels (3) and allows a caregiver to move a care-receiving person (H). The transfer device (1) is characterized by being provided with: a support body (6) for supporting the upper half body of the care-receiving person (H); a leg guidance part (19) that comes into contact with the anterior surface of the lower legs of the care-receiving person (H) and can be tilted forward from a substantially vertical state; and a foot placement part (22) on which the feet of the care-receiving person (H) are placed, wherein the transfer device (1) has a support body advancing and retreating mechanism (27) that is configured such that the support body (6) moves forward in parallel in link with a forward tilt of the leg guidance part (19).
