Abstract:

This transformer for vehicles, which is installed on a roof of a vehicle, is provided with: main piping constituting a refrigerant circulation path; a transformer tank disposed in the circulation path, accommodating a coil, and storing a refrigerant; a circulating pump disposed in the circulation path and circulating the refrigerant through the circulation path; and a cooler which is disposed in the circulation path and on the upper surface of the transformer tank, and uses traveling wind generated due to the traveling of the vehicle to cool the refrigerant through heat exchange with the air. The cooler is configured from a plurality of cooling pipes, and has: a cooling pipe mechanism installed in a Z-direction from the upper surface of the transformer tank; an inlet header introducing the refrigerant from the circulating pump side into a cooling pipe group; and an outlet header discharging the refrigerant, that has flowed through the cooling pipe mechanism, to the transformer tank side.
