Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a transition method and device for a transmission mode. When a UE is in a connected state, if the uplink traffic of the UE in a first detection time is less than a first threshold, the UE transitions from the connected state to a power-saving state, or, transitions a transmission mode in the connected state from an uplink scheduling transmission mode to an uplink contention transmission mode, thus allowing the transmission mode of the UE to adapt to changes in the traffic of the UE, allowing transmission resources to be effectively utilized, and, because the UE does not need to detect a dynamic control channel, reducing power consumption of the UE.
