Abstract:
A transmission device (100) characterized by comprising: a first mapping unit (2) for arranging modulated symbols on an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) subcarrier; a first differential block coding unit (3) for differentially block coding a portion of the arranged modulated symbols; a second differential block coding unit (4) for differentially block coding the remaining modulated symbols, which are the modulated symbols other than the modulated symbol to be differentially block coded by the first differential block coding unit, in which an output of the first differential block coding unit is treated as a start symbol; and a second mapping unit (5) for converting an output of the second differential block coding unit into transmission signals transmitted from a plurality of antennas.
