Abstract:
The present invention provides a transmission link use method and a multimode base station, wherein the transmission link use method comprises: configuring a maintenance channel, wherein the maintenance channel is a channel for transmitting messages between a first standard part and a second standard part; using a first transmission link to obtain a control command for controlling the second standard part; using the maintenance channel to send the control command to the second standard part so as to control the second standard part based on the control command. According to the transmission link use method provided by embodiments of the present invention, the control command used for controlling the second standard part can sequentially pass the first transmission link and the maintenance channel of the first standard part for transmission so as to control the second standard part, implementing remote control of the second standard part. Thus, when performing link detection or second standard part station opening, wireless personnel can remotely complete the link detection and the second standard part station opening without a station offline operation.
