Abstract:
This transmission path, which is capable of transmitting a first electromagnetic wave having a first frequency and a second electromagnetic wave having a second frequency lower than the first frequency and has the same cross section in the longitudinal direction, comprises: a first waveguide formed by a first dielectric of which a relative permittivity is a first relative permittivity; a second waveguide formed by a second dielectric which covers the outer periphery of the first waveguide and of which a relative permittivity is a second relative permittivity smaller than the first relative permittivity at the first frequency; and a covering part that covers the outer periphery of the second waveguide and is formed by a conductive member, wherein the covering part has a first opening that passes from an outer peripheral surface to expose the second waveguide and transmits the second electromagnetic wave.
