Abstract:
To establish an appropriate transmission power offset suitable for a situation in a radio network control station, thereby suppressing the degradation of the uplink capacity caused by the transmission power of enhanced dedicated physical control channel (E-DPCCH). The inventive transmission power control method comprises a step in which a radio base station (NodeB) determines the reception quality of the enhanced dedicated physical control channel (E-DPCCH); a step in which the radio base station (NodeB) notifies a radio network control station (RNC) of the reception quality of the enhanced dedicated physical control channel (E-DPCCH); a step in which the radio network control station (RNC) establishes, based on the reception quality of the enhanced dedicated physical control channel (E-DPCCH), a transmission power offset to the dedicated physical control channel (DPCCH) of the enhanced dedicated physical control channel (E-DPCCH); and a step in which the radio network control station (RNC) notifies a mobile station (UE) of the transmission power offset.
