Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention is a transmission system comprising: a modulation wave generation unit that generates an intermediate wave which is a coherent wave, on the frequency spectrum of which is superimposed a frequency component of one of two signals, which are a main signal indicative of information to be transmitted and a control signal indicative of management information pertaining to communication between a sender of the information to be transmitted and the communication destination; and a modulation unit that modulates the intermediate wave by the other one of the main signal and the control signal, no frequency component of which is superimposed on the frequency spectrum of the coherent wave generated by the modulation wave generation unit, wherein the frequency band of the main signal and the frequency band of the control signal do not overlap with each other.
