Abstract:
To provide a transmission in which improper selection of shift stage can be prevented
from occurring without enlarging the size of the transmission itself. The movement
of shift stage changing members (60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74) for changing shift
stages in the shift direction is restricted by a restricting member (92) on the
outer sides of both ends of the shift stage changing members (60, 62, 64, 66, 68,
70, 72, 74). On the other hand, Groove parts (100, 102) formed in the restricting
member (92) allow the movement of the shift stage changing members (60, 62, 64,
66, 68, 70, 72, 74) engaging with a shift operation member (86) in the shift direction.
The movement of the shift stage changing members (60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74),
which the shift operation member (86) is not engaged with the shift operation
member (86), from a shift stage selection position to a shift stage non-selection
position is restricted by the engagement of the restricting member (92) with
recessed parts (108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 118, 120, 122) which are formed in the
shift stage changing members (60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74) and allow the movement
of the restricting member (92) in the select direction when the shift stage changing
members (60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74) are at the shift stage selection position.
