Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transmitter for marine rescue and a monitoring device for marine rescue. A transmitter for marine rescue carried by a user who boards a ship, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a first communication unit for communicating with a monitoring device for marine rescue of the ship; a first positioning unit for generating first position information of the transmitter at preset time intervals; and a first control unit for receiving, from the monitoring device, second position information of the monitoring device at preset time intervals, and determining whether the first position information is included in a safe zone of the ship which is set on the basis of the second position information. Accordingly, a distress signal can be transmitted without operating a switch during an emergency while minimizing power consumption of the transmitter.
