Title:
TRANSMITTER, RECEIVER, COMMUNICATION METHOD AND TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/015317
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A zero inserter (3) is used to insert (k - 1) zeros between adjacent data of a complex
baseband signal, thereby placing adjacent (k - 1) copies of the frequency spectrum
of the complex baseband signal as before the zero insertion and further magnifying
the occupied bandwidth of a transport signal as before the zero insertion to k
times (where k ≥ 1). A band limit filter (6), which has a Nyquist bandwidth
that is equal to or longer than kR, is used where T is a time interval between the
adjacent data of the complex baseband signal, T/k is a time interval between the
adjacent data as after the zero insertion, and T = 1/R. A complex signal having
passed through the band limit filter (6) is subjected to a quadrature modulation
and then transmitted. A simple structure can be used to obtain a frequency diversity
effect even in a circumstance of a poor transmission quality.
