Abstract:

This transmitter has: a transmitting unit (21) for transmitting power in a non-contacting manner; a data communication unit (22) for acquiring identification information of at least one receiver enabled for receiving power transmitted from the transmitting unit (21); a receiver-discovering/dissociating detector (261) adapted for counting the number of times individual receivers for which the identification information has been received have changed state between a receiving-disabled state and a receiving-enabled state within a predetermined time; and a transmission control unit (263) for controlling the transmitting of power by the transmitting unit (21) on the basis of the number of changes in the state as calculated by the receiver-discovering/dissociating detector (261).
