Abstract:
A code multiplexer unit (102) multiplexes spread data outputted by spreader units (101-1 to 101-n) to generate code multiplexed data. A reference data generator unit (103) generates redundant data carrying no information and having a constant transmission power. A data adder unit (105) adds the redundant data to the code multiplexed data. A variable amplifier unit (108) variably amplifies the transmission power of the code multiplexed data and redundant data to generate transmission output data. A differential value calculating unit (112) calculates the differential value between a target amplitude value based on the redundant data and the redundant data portion of the transmission output data. A gain control unit (113) generates a gain control signal based on the differential value to control the gain of the variable amplifier unit (108). In this way, the gain compensation can accurately be performed with a small amount of operation.
