Abstract:
The invention relates to a transparent image projector, comprising a light source, an image support (12), for at least one transparent image, a lens arrangement for display of the transparent image by means of the principle of projection and a projector housing, in which the light source, the image support and the lens arrangement are housed. The projector housing is formed in two-pieces with a base piece (1) and a cover piece (2) which are linked in a manner to permit opening. A projection opening is formed in the cover piece and a projection lens (6) may be fitted therein. Conversely, the light source is arranged in the base piece (1). The image support (12) may be accessed on opening the cover piece (2). A rotating mirror mounting (7) may be fitted in front of the projection lens (6), which makes it possible to project moving still images. In a stationary position the rotating mirror mounting serves to vary the direction of projection without altering the projector orientation. The projector system is compact and a number of assembly types are possible. Additionally, the external form of the projector is freely changeable. The projector is particularly suitable as an advertisement image projector in continuous operation. The invention further relates to an image support particularly suitable for the projector.
