Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a transparent orthodontic device comprising: a transparent orthodontic body configured to receive a tooth so as to move the tooth to be corrected from an initial location to a target location; and an opening formed through the transparent orthodontic body and allowing the tooth to be at least partially exposed therethrough, wherein the opening is formed in an occlusal area with an antagonistic tooth during occlusion, the transparent orthodontic body includes a boundary for defining the opening, and the boundary has a thickness being reduced toward the opening.
