Abstract:
Provided is a transparent protective plate which is easily attached to the display main body of a flat panel display and which is capable of preventing the properties of the flat panel display from deteriorating when said transparent protective plate is attached to the flat panel display. A transparent protective plate bonded to the display surface of the display main body of a flat panel display, the transparent protective plate being provided with a glass substrate having a thickness of 0.5 to 1.8 mm, and an adhesive layer which has a thickness of 20 to 150 µm, is directly or indirectly laminated on the surface of the glass substrate on the side to be bonded to the display surface, and is formed from an adhesive agent having an adhesion force of 0.1 N/25mm or more as measured in accordance with JIS Z0237.
