Abstract:
Disclosed are a transport control device and the like capable of achieving high transport efficiency. The transport control device assesses whether or not to form a group of a plurality of transport devices according to whether or not the load of transport processing for transporting an object to be transported from a transport origin to a transport destination meets the criteria for assessing whether or not to implement group transport, in which the plurality of transport devices transport the object in cooperation. Upon assessing that the group is to be formed, the transport control device instructs the plurality of transport devices to move to form the group.
