Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain a transport device for a connected bag body wherein no foreign substances are generated from any constituent component of the transport device and thus no such foreign substances may erroneously enter containers and the like into which individually packaged bags are inserted. [Solution] Provided is a transport device for transporting a connected bag body 1 in which multiple individually packaged bags 2, each storing contents and having a sealed part 4 formed in a belt-like shape along one side or both sides thereof, are connected together via connection pieces 5 formed in a perpendicular direction to the sealed part 4. The transport device is provided with: a transport mechanism 7 for transporting the connected bag body 1 in a horizontal direction; a cutting mechanism 8 for cutting off the connection pieces 5 of the connected bag body 1 transported from the transport mechanism 7; and a pair of vertically arranged rotary bodies 27 disposed in a space between the transport mechanism 7 and the cutting mechanism 8, and press-holding the sealed part 4 of the connected bag body 1 from above and below and rotated in a transporting direction, thereby enabling the connected bag body 1 to be transported in the transporting direction. The transport mechanism 7 is provided with: roller parts 11 on which the connected bag body 1 is placed; and a pair of guide bodies 12, 13 disposed along both ends 18 of the connected bag body 1 placed on the roller parts 11.
