Abstract:
Provided is a transport device capable of transporting or towing a cart having a plurality of wheels on the bottom thereof, the transport device comprising: a mobile body; an engagement member provided on the body and capable of engaging with a predetermined location on the cart; a camera capable of capturing an image of the cart; a height detection unit that processes the image from the camera and detects the height of the predetermined location on the cart; and a control unit that controls the engagement member so that the engagement member engages with the predetermined location on the cart on the basis of the height of the predetermined location on the cart detected by the height detection unit.
