Abstract:
This transport device transports an object to be transported having a magnetic substance and comprises: a plurality of coils that generate thrust for transporting the object to be transported; a coil drive unit that applies a voltage in a pulse form to each of the plurality of coils; and a computation unit. When switching an energized coil, the computation unit determines the width of the voltage in the pulse form such that the speed or the acceleration of the object to be transported is stabilized on the basis of the positions of the object to be transported and the times of passing the positions or the current that has flowed through the energized coil during a predetermined period that precedes the time of energization switching, and outputs the same to the coil drive unit. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress liquid shaking caused by the switching of the energized coil in the transport device.
