Abstract:
This travel assistance system (S) for an agricultural machine (1) comprises: a position detection device (40) which detects the position of the agricultural machine (1); a reference creation unit (53j) which is positioned in front of the agricultural machine (1) and creates a determination reference (X) for determining turning of the agricultural machine (1); an area discrimination unit (53l) which discriminates between a first area (e1), which is a region where the agricultural machine (1) circulates in a predetermined circulation direction and where a work device (2) performs work, and a second area (e2), which is adjacent to the first area (e1) in a field (H) and into which the agricultural machine (1) is prohibited in advance from intruding; and a first setting unit (53m) which, when the determination reference (X) is positioned in the second area (e2), sets a first turning portion (CR1) between the agricultural machine (1) and the second area (e2) where the agricultural machine (1) will turn to the first area.
