Abstract:
The present invention is a travel plan generation method for generating a travel plan along the route of a vehicle, the method comprising: a maximum speed limit zone-setting step for setting, on the basis of the road environment on the route, a maximum speed limit zone in which the maximum speed of the vehicle is limited; a low-speed allowance zone-setting step for setting a low-speed allowance zone, which is a zone within a preset low-speed allowance distance from the maximum speed limit zone prior to the maximum speed limit zone on the route; and a travel plan generation step for generating a travel plan in which the speed of the vehicle is limited to no more than a limited speed in the maximum speed limit zone, and in which the speed of the vehicle is not reduced to a preset low-speed discomfort speed or less in zones excluding the maximum speed limit zone and the low-speed allowance zone.
