Abstract:
This traveling vehicle system (1) comprises: a track (4) having, in a portion thereof, a non-autonomous traveling section in which a traveling vehicle (6) cannot autonomously travel; a traveling vehicle (6) which travels along the track (4); and a moving unit (60) which moves, in one direction, the traveling vehicle (6) in the non-autonomous traveling section. The moving unit (60) has a moving mechanism (63) which causes a movable block (61) to move in one direction. The traveling vehicle (6) has an engagement part (53) which can be engaged with the movable block (61); and a switching mechanism (53C) which switches the position of the engagement part (53) between a first position where the engagement part (53) is engaged by the movable block (61) and a second position where the engagement part is separated away from the movable block (61). The moving mechanism (63) causes the traveling vehicle (6) to move by moving, in one direction, the movable block (61) in a state in which the engagement part (53) is being engaged.
