Abstract:
A traveling vehicle (1) has a mechanical brake link mechanism (30) for transmitting operation of a brake pedal (31) to a brake device that controls brakes of left/right rear wheels (8B) and that is housed in a case (5). The brake link mechanism (30) has a pair of brake rods (34) extending in the front-rear direction (Y) on the sides of the case (5). Below the pair of brake rods (34), a guard (200) having a pair of guard parts (210) extending in the front-rear direction (Y) is provided. The pair of brake rods (34) overlap with the pair of guard parts (210) in the up-down direction (Z). The pair of brake rods (34) are located, in a side view of the traveling vehicle (1), away upward from a lower surface (5b) of the case (5) by not less than a certain distance, and have a high portion (342H) that is located above the lower surface (5b) of the case (5) and a low portion (342Lo) that is located below the high portion (342H). The pair of guard parts (210) overlap with at least the entirety of the low portion (342Lo) in the up-down direction (Z).
