Abstract:
The present invention addresses the issue of providing a novel means that improves the corrosion resistance of a painted metal material. The issue is addressed by a metal material treatment agent that is used in a pre-treatment during a chemical conversion treatment that forms the surface of a metal material or a chemical conversion film on the surface. The treatment agent has: a specific amine compound (A); and metallic acid ions (B) selected from molybdenum acid ions and tungsten acid ions.
