Abstract:
This invention includes a personalized multi-piece orthosis installed on the patient's body organ to treat the bone fracture provided with the aid of 3-dimensional printing. Conventional plasters may create inadequate pressure from the plaster to the organ and vice versa and the expansion of the orthosis do not induce the bone to weld properly at the right time. In addition, excessive pressure may also cause compartment syndrome. Using the pressure sensors inside the orthosis and also the camera on the orthosis surface, the pressure from orthosis to organ and vice versa along with other information are continuously measured and stored on the webserver. Measurements are displayed continuously on the LCD or any other platform for the patient and the physician. At the physician's discretion to change the pressure from orthosis to the organ and vice versa, his or her prescription is issued and applied to the orthosis via the webserver.
