Abstract:
Provided is a treatment furnace, wherein a seal section 31 restricts the movement of ambient gas passing through a communication section between a low-pressure treatment section and a high-pressure treatment section. The seal section 31 circulates said ambient gas in the communication section between a blowing section for blowing, onto a moving steel ribbon, ambient gas from the low-pressure treatment section toward the high-pressure treatment section, and a suctioning section for suctioning ambient gas at a position downstream of the blowing section. The amount of ambient gas that is exhausted from a seal-section exhaust pipe is adjusted by a seal-section adjustment valve, and the amount of ambient gas that is in the communication section closer to the high-pressure treatment section than the seal section and is exhausted from a communication-section exhaust pipe is adjusted by a communication-section adjustment valve.
