Abstract:

A treatment instrument (1) for an endoscope is provided with: a pair of forceps members (first forceps member (11) and second forceps member (12)) which are supported by a forceps pivot shaft (13) so as to be pivotable relative to each other; an operation section which performs opening and closing operation of the pair of forceps members; an operation wire (31) which connects the operation section and the pair of forceps members; a connection member (34) which is provided to the tip of the operation wire and has two link pivot shafts (34A, 34B) which have axes disposed so as to be separated from the axis of the operation wire and to be parallel to each other; and a pair of link members (first link member (35) and second link member (36)) which have first ends respectively pivotably connected to the base ends of the pair of forceps members and also have second ends respectively pivotably connected to the link pivot shafts, the pair of link members being parallel to each other when the pair of forceps members is in a closed state.
