Abstract:
Provided is a treatment solution for forming an oxidation-resistant film on a surface-coated cermet member, said treatment solution making it is possible to readily form an oxidation-resistant film with which oxidation resistance can be improved while the excellent performance of a titanium sintered compact is retained. The treatment solution is a composition that contains 20 mass% or more of a solvent, and a metal salt that produces a compound oxide by reacting with a titanium compound. The metal salt is preferably a compound of an iron group transition metal ion having a valency of 2. The treatment solution can be applied to a cermet substrate (11) and then heated in order to form an oxidation-resistant film (12) comprising a compound oxide.
