Abstract:

　This treatment tool (10) comprises: a first gripping member (120) which has a long and thin shape; and a second gripping member (130) which has a long and thin shape and which is displaced relative to the first gripping member (120) so as to grip biological tissue between the first gripping member (120) and the second gripping member (130). The second gripping member (130) comprises a gripping portion (125) that touches the biological tissue that is to be gripped. In the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the gripping portion (125), A is the cross sectional area, Z is the section modulus, and I is the second moment of area, as calculated with reference to the axis perpendicular to a straight line passing through the centre of the first gripping member (120) and the centre of the second gripping member (130). Here, I/A2 for the gripping portion is highest at the base end and/or Z/A3/2 for the gripping portion is highest at the base end.
