Description:
DESCRIPTION

TRIANGULAR PROFILE DOUBLE BEATER TURBO SWEEPER HEAD

TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a sweeper head that is used for cleaning hairy surfaces such as carpet, etc.

The present invention particularly relates to the said sweeper head having a body with triangular profile and having double beater.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION A vacuum cleaner is a device that uses an air pump to create a partial vacuum in order to suck up particles such as dust, dirt, etc. usually from floors and optionally from other surfaces. Vacuum cleaners, which are generally used in homes, are also used in industry with different sizes and models. Vacuum cleaners consist of a motor mounted to the body, a dust bag, a sweeper head, and a hose group that provides a connection between sweeper head and dust bag. Dust and dirt are collected in a dust bag. The motor enables the development of vacuum by powering the air pump. Dusts are collected within the dust bag through the hose group by the suction mouth of the sweeper head that contacts with the surface.

Sweeper head provides a contact between the floor and sweeper. A sweeper head generally consists of a suction mouth, a rotational beater, and a delivery pipe. Particles on the floor pass into the sweeper head through a suction mouth via a pump which creates vacuum by the motor power. The beater allows the intake of particles and transfers them to the delivery pipe. They then pass into a dust bag from the delivery pipe via a hose.

In the current technique, if the floor has a hairy structure like carpet and rug, a thorough cleaning cannot be provided by the beater part contacting to the floor and thus, particles cannot be removed at the bottom of a carpet. This leads noxious particles to mix with air inhaled and leads to certain diseases.

In the current technique, since a sweeper head has a rectangular profile and a single beater, it is moved parallel to two perpendicular sides by two moves to sweep thoroughly. This raises difficulties for a customer in sweeping and affects the duration of cleaning. In the current technique, the national application No. 2002/00627 and the application No. US2013139350 could not also bring a solution for the abovementioned problems completely. The application No. 2002/00627 disclosed a configuration having a single beater and a rectangular profile in which particles on the hairy surfaces were cleaned by a beater rotating via a vacuum turbine that was rotated by sucked air and could not bring a solution to the abovementioned problems. The application No. US2013139350 disclosed a single-peace configuration having a rectangular profile in which particles on the surfaces were cleaned by a beater that was attached to an air turbine driven by sucked air; the connection between vacuum turbine and beater was performed via worm gear connection. This application could not bring a solution to the abovementioned problems as well.

As a consequence, existence of the abovementioned problems and absence of a current solution necessitate making a development in the relevant technical field.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The invention aims to solve all abovementioned problems, eliminate all disadvantages, and bring additional advantages to the configuration.

The invention aims to sweep corners more easily via a head with triangular profile. This easiness is provided by beaters that are mounted parallel to the edges which are in angular position to the floor. Therefore, it is aimed to enhance efficiencies in sweeping and cleaning and to provide a more hygienic cleaning. The invention provides a thorough cleaning by its rotatory beaters. This provides a better cleaning via the beaters, which are attached to a rotatory vacuum turbine driven by sucked air, which provides better sweeping of dusts and dirt at the bottom of the carpet by bringing them to the surface via beating them through getting into the loops of hairy surfaces like carpet and rug. This is obtained by providing a constant contact of hairs that are aligned through a parabolic curve on the drum with the floor.

In order to fulfill the abovementioned aims, the followings are included

- a body partitioned by supporting plates with gaps inside and having a triangular profile,

- a beater that moves particles on surfaces like carpet, etc via hairs aligned through a parabolic curve on the drum, - a vacuum turbine placed in the gaps that open to supporting plates by connection pivot and moves by the hits of air to the wings, which is sucked from suction mouths that are open to the said body base,

- a conductor that is attached to the said connection pivot and connection wheels on the drum and transmits the movement derived from vacuum turbine to the beater,

- a drive group that is consist of a vacuum turbine, a beater, and a conductor and transmits air intake from suction mouth to the transmission line by involving particles

- a transmission line into which particles are transferred by the said derive group.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Figure 1 is the view of the most common form of sweeper head (1 ). The sweeper head (1 ) consists of a body (100), drive group (200), and advance group (130). The body (100) has triangular profile which includes supporting plates (1 10) for mounting drive groups (200).

Suction mouths (160), from which air is sucked, are found at the base of said body (100).

The air that enters by the suction mouths (160) opens to the transmission line (140) by the drive group (200). The transmission line (140) connects to the upper pipe connection (120) and the air flow including particles inside is sucked upwards. Linear movement of the body

(100) on the floor is provided by the advance group (130). A top cover (180) that opens to the transmission line (140) is found on the body (100).

Figure 2 is the view of inner structure of sweeper head (1 ) and drive group (200). Said drive group (200) consists of beater (210), vacuum turbine (230), and conductor (220). Beaters (210), which are found in pairs, are placed into partitions restrained by the supporting plates

(1 10) in the said body (100). The beater (210) is composed of hairs (21 1 ) aligned through a parabolic curve around a drum (212). Said drum (212) is a part in cylindrical shape with bores opened at both ends. From these bores, the said drum (212) is passed into the gaps

(1 1 1 ) opened to the supporting plates (1 10). A connection wheel (213) is present at the ends of the said drum (212). Said connection wheel (213) has a corrugated structure. Loss of power from vacuum turbine (230) is prevented by placing the conductor (220) to these corrugations of connection wheel (213) rigidly. The continuity of contact between the said beater (210) and the floor is provided by the hairs (21 1 ) aligned through a parabolic curve on the drum (212). The vacuum turbine (230), which is also found in pairs, passes into the partitions that are restrained by the supporting plates (1 10) like the said beater (210). The sucked air drives the beaters (210) via rotating by hitting the wings (231 ) in the said vacuum turbine (230). Said wings (231 ) are the parts with special profiles having certain distances in between. The vacuum turbine (230) turns by diverting the air flow passing between these wings (231 ). There is a connection wheel (213) connected to the said vacuum turbine (230) via a connection pivot (232). Said connection wheel (213) is designed for the conductor (220) which provides movement of the vacuum turbine (230) together with the beater (210). Vacuum turbines (230) are mounted to the gaps (1 1 1 ) opening to the supporting plates (1 10) by the connection pivot (232). The conductor (220) transmits the movement developed by the vacuum turbine (230) to the beater (210) by providing a connection between the vacuum turbine (230) and beater (210).

The body (100) provides the placement of drive group (200) into its inside by supporting plates (1 10) with a partitioned structure. The top cover on the body (100) is opened to the transmission line (140) and makes it easier to intervene in case of a blockage. Advance pivots (131 ), to which advance group is mounted, are present in the back of the body (100). A collector (150) contacting to the floor is found at the bottom of the body (100). The said collector (150), which is made up of PVC material, sweeps the particles, such as hair, on the floor (See Figure 4).

The advance group (130) is a wheeled structure two at rear and one at front providing a balanced movement of sweeper head (1 ). The wheels found at the back of the body (100) are big and mounted to the connection pivots (131 ) on the said body (100). The front wheel is half-buried to the base of the sweeper head (1 ) (See Figure 4).

Figure 3 is the view of air flow lines and direction of vacuum of the sweeper head (1 ). The air, which enters from the suction mouths (160) by the vacuum occurred with the turning on the vacuum cleaner, hits the wings (231 ) found in the vacuum turbine (230). The wings (231 ) having a special profile turns the vacuum turbine (230) by the effect of hitting. The beater (210) is provided to be rotate on the floor by transmitting this rotating movement to the conductor (220) and beater (210). By this way, the said beater (210) brings the particles at the bottom to the surface by entering the loops of hairy floors. Particles are sucked upwards by upper pipe connection (120) from the transmission line (140) together with the vacuum occurred.

Figure 5 is the illustration of a sweeper head (1 ) including a single beater (210) and vacuum turbine (230). Optionally, it is possible to position the beaters (210) and vacuum turbine (230) perpendicular to line axis singly without a need for positioning them at triangular sides of the sweeper head (1 ). As also shown in other figures, preferably, it is possible to configure the beater (210) and vacuum turbine (230) at angular position to the line axis.
