Abstract:
This tube cutting device comprises a tube guide part that is provided with: a rotary plate which is driven by a motor within a plane orthogonal to a tube axial direction and in which a rotation central region is hollow; a cutting blade provided on the rotary plate; and, at a moving region of a cutting blade portion situated in the hollow part of the rotary plate, a cylinder section for guiding a tube so as to be fed out in a linear fashion to the vicinity of a cutting plane such that the tube axis becomes parallel to the rotation central axis of the rotary plate. The tube cutting device also comprises a butting switch part that causes a switch to be turned from on to off as a result of being pushed by an leading end of the tube being fed out. The tube cutting device makes it possible to achieve excellent tube cutting with an electric-motor-driven simple device configuration by causing a single round of cutting operation to take place when the rotary plate rotates one revolution after the switch is turned ON.
